The pool in the Guilderland gym is ok. For some reason they keep the water at 85 degrees and the inside of the pool area is around 90 degrees. I am a lap swimmer and these are pretty bad conditions. Ive had to stop harder swims before just to go outside so I could catch my breath. Vent - Any reason why you keep it so high? All other pools I go to have it around 78 with a well vented room temperature pool area. I am considering canceling my membership. So far so good. I originally started just for Zumba with the amazing Rene Scavio. I have now branched out and have started taking body pump and body combat with Charlotte Todd as well. I love how they are so energetic and make the classes so fun. They are very supportive and that means a lot. Everyone is very nice and welcoming when I am there.
Gym used to be great gym when it was Golds. Now is turning into a upscale version of planet fitness. Went to the "new" guilderland gym for first and it's sad how place has changed. The equipment is awful what little there actually is. Really hope this is not plan with other gyms or will be canceling membership.
