I am really liking this place. While it certainly has a corporate feel, I love the facilities, amenities, and cleanliness of everything. The staff seem responsive. And, I'm in love with the auto massage tables. What a treat after a long day or good workout!
The gym wasn't busy at all and I was able to complete my workout without any wait. The facility was clean and had and easy layout. The membership prices are much higher than the local competitive gyms. Being a mother of 3 I cannot justify spending the extra money for the same amenities offered for much less at several other gyms.
The gym is OK. The business model is predatory. It asks you to autopay with a credit card and put up much hassle for you to pull out. There is not a person, a phone number that you can reach for canceling membership. The staff is helpful until that point. They always refer you to a website, which allow two excuses to get out. Moving or disability. I'm moving out. But it requires additional billing for address change and charge you at least for one more month. I used to belong to Planet Fitness and joined the Guilderland Vent a year ago. I love going to the gym again! The place has a fantastic energy, the staff is friendly and always willing to help out. It's just a great place.
I'm so grateful for the staff in the Kids Room at the Guilderland location! Every time I pick up my 3 month old son he is either smiling or napping. It's such a relief to know that I can work out and my baby is being taken care of. Thank you!!
