My sis was in town visiting and wanted to see the ocean. This is definitely a good place to see the water. We were told to seat ourselves upstairs. A waitress brought over menus so we assumed she would be waiting in us. We waited about 15 minutes and she never came back. Never saw her again. I think it was shift change time. After ok experiences previously I made my way from Santa Monica to Venice for lunch to be turned away for having a backpack, as a tourist that’s pretty vital for keeping money,I’d, clothing etc the same things I had with me when I previously visited. As if that wasn’t bad enough a lady exits the premises wearing a back pack at which point I comment “must just be men’s backpacks then” and the response was it’s based on size! Never mind whaler it should be called the Venice clown fish
I threw it all up. � Calamari and my burger were undercooked. Best burger in LA if you want to get sick after. Our waitress was great! She was very attentive and all smiles. This star is for her.
Excellent menu, excellent service, excellent view! This is my go to place for guests coming from out of town! Such a gem!
