This was the rudest customer service I have ever experienced. We had booked a cake decorating workshop for our friend’s 25th birthday. We arrived on time and waited outside in the cold for half an hour, only to learn that our class had been canceled without any notice. Unfortunately, I Didn’t have anDidn’t have an good experience with the bakery. Cannot speak for the quality of their baked goods, but we showed up for a book class that was completely empty with no instructor. We did not receive prior notice that the class was cancelled until about 10 minutes after the class began standing downtown, waiting for it to start. I celebrated my birthday at Velvet Lane Cakes & Cafe, taking part in their cake workshop with a few close friends. Not only was the workshop absolutely fun (with the added benefit of taking home a delicious cake), but it was also incredibly informative. Danielle was an excellent instructor. She taught us different decorating techniques, was incredibly patient and kind, and made the experience all the more enjoyable. 10/10 would highly recommend!
This place is a gem. From the decor through to the fantastic service and delicious cakes, everything was perfect.
Visited while on holiday in Toronto. Most amazing range of delicious cakes and pastries. Great coffee and a perfect location for a break while visiting the sights. Highly recommend
