The recommendation for Coconut was first diagnostic x-rays upward of $600, then to euthanize her on the spot, then to being forced to sign a paper that we are going against medical advice, then to giving palliative care. Coconut, the beloved guinea girl, is alive and recovered 4 months later. The conflicting course of recommendations seemed like a money scam. It was a very memorable negative first vet experience for our two sons. We saved our pet from the vet. :(
The staff went above and beyond to make me and my dog feel comfortable. I highly recommend them!
Can't say enough about the staff and the care we receive here. We have several vets much closer to where we live, but it is worth it to make the drive for the outstanding care we get at VCA Wakefield!
Good to excellent on care. Well I never had a problem with any of the Vets. Bunny did she was getting her annual exam on the floor. she was getting antsy with the scope to her belly. And just basically jumped from a tile floor to a wooden bench down to floor. I was not expecting that nor was the Dr. and she is 10 years old. And is very active and shows no signs of slowing down. There has always been a vet tech to make sure she is secure on the exam table last several times I have been. Any way it was scary.
