RecommendedEvery single employee is so friendly and helpful. I've been bringing my dog here for 8 years, and we just moved further away, but I still make the effort to get to VCA Wakefield. I believe we've seen each vet, and I can't recommend one over the other, because they're all AWESOME! My pup loves going to the vet, and they're now certified Fear Free (Google it!) which means that now they're even more fun for him to visit. Staff are So Knowledgeable and Compassionate to Pets and their owners.
I cannot thank the staff enough for how much they did for me. It was my first time visiting them. I brought in my little guy Rufus and unfortunately had to say goodbye to him. The staff were so supportive and helped me through a difficult time. The vet was also very knowledgeable. Thank you so much for caring for my little guy and helping me in a difficult time. I hope I get the chance to visit again.
Dr. Couts is EXCELLENT! If I could give a higher rating, I would. He was so kind, genuine and supportive with helping me to make the difficult decision to put down my rat, Lilac. The small personal touches from him, his gentle and reassuring words and how he was fully engaged at all times, spoke volumes. The staff were all extremely sweet and helpful, as well! Thank you all so much for going above and beyond, it will always be remembered. <3
They're always there when I need them with knowledgeable care and loving compassion.
Dr Pellitier is the most compassionate vet I have every known. She treated my very sick hamster, texted to see how she was, held and pet her and showed true compassion to my pet and to me. I am grateful she took the time to help and to even be there to help me make Twinkies final plan. Thank you, Dr Pellitier, you are the best!

Dr. Couts and all of the staff at VCA are so kind and compassionate. Dr. Couts explained everything thoroughly, answered all of our questions, and gave us many options on what to do with our aging guinea pig, Jerry.
