This place is amazing! They kept me updated on everything that was going on and did everything to keep my dog comfortable. They are so accommodating and understanding. The doctors are very knowledgable and really care about the animals more than making money. I recommend them to anyone!!
Many thanks to VCA for their great care of my sweet tripod Abby. Unfortunate as it was to have to put her to sleep, they took great care of Abby's humans as well. They showed all of us such compassion and let us take the necessary time to make informed decisions concerning Abby's well being. Thanks VCA for helping us through this most difficult time.
I can only speak of my own experience with Central Kitsap VCA. As a animal owner i have never had such a ride when it came to a pet's health. I really appreciate the honesty and educated guidance i had from the staff during the up's and down's. Even in the beginning when i felt that things were not on par, i called and voiced my opinion and got my needed results, so much so that when i was stricken with another health crises i took my pet back to to this facility. Still sitting here after 6 hours and multiple "someone will be in shortly" I have watched 15 people come and go without so much as even seeing the vet. Xrays were pushed back 2 hours after being told 4 times "we will get him in next". We will not be bringing any more of our animals here after this horrendous experience for both us and our family dog.
They are just amazing in all aspects. We had to take our dog to them because of an emergency. All though she was unable to be saved, we were treated so well and our dog was handled as if we were treating her yourself, we ended up transferring all our dogs there for regular care. They worked with us when it came to testing the dog we lost, in order to do what was best without us running out of money before figuring out the problem. On Dec 1, we had an emergency urinary blockage in our Mister Loki. Because it was 11 30 at night and a Sunday, our options were limited. I googled vets closer than Tacoma and called VCA and made him an appointment to come in. We arrived at midnight and they instantly got to work. They discussed my options for my limited funds and what we could do. We had a catheter inserted and had his bladder flushed and were able to take him home that night. Superior service and care for my fur baby. We came in as he wasn't urinating and were instantly seen. All options were well explained and great service!! Couldn't have asked for a better place.
