My sister's mother in law's acute pain from multiple fractures e.g. ribs, pelvis due to a fall was not treated in the skilled nursing facility she was discharged to. P She was then expected to participate in PT with tylenol alone prescribed. Admittedly the hospital may have discharged this patient without pain control, but the health care provider whose care she was under after should have picked up on this especially if there were issues with compliance in PT.
