Dr. Vasallo should not be doing eye surgeries. Unfortunately we did not know about his other malpractice cases and his poor local reputation (1 review in 20 yrs? should tell you something). Mom was to have a "simple" cataract surgery and had problems immediately, oh don't worry, it will clear up. We moved a year later, new eye surgeon, highly respected in the US AND Canada said her surgery was a failure and there was a fluid sac gathering behind her eye due to the cataract lens being put in crooked. you can see it in her eye... read more
