RecommendedWow! I was very nervous going thru the procedure at first. I have anxiety issue & muscle spasms & a cough. The nurses were great and talked me thru so that i was no longer anxious.Everyone was so very friendly and professional.By the time the 2nd eye was done, i had no problem at all.Even in the surgery room they kept me calm and my mind off of my anxiety. I highly recommend Dr Makris to everyone i see.
SCAM SCAM SCAM ! What a scam. I took a friend to get eyes tested and glasses. Markis tested his eyes then said he needed to make another appointment to get his prescription for his glasses done by another person who worked there . I took him today and they demanded $35.00 to "finalize" his prescription. When I asked why this wasn't mentioned when the appointment was made no one could give an answer. After they saw we would not fall for this scam, they "offered " to do it for free. Lol like they won't charge his insurance. Be... read more

I was brought to the side of the clinic as soon as I arrived. The different girls checked on me three times to see if I needed anything. Everyone was so cheerful it was the BEST experience I’ve had during other out-patient procedures. Before I went home two girls went over instructions and showed me the number to call if any questions came up later. This is how every doctor’s office should work. I’ve always believed a Doctor is only as good as his office staff. Both are excellent.
Dr. Makriis and his employees are very friendly and his work is great! He makes sure he takes his tie with each undividual during his surgery and does his profection. I would recommend Dr. Makris for an Eye Doctor and Surgeon if u need one.
I have never had such a thorough exam of my eyes before. I had surgery on both eyes and found a whole new world. The professionalism of Dr. Makris and his staff was well noted and I felt that everything possible was done to ensure the health of my eyesight.
