I just happened to be a former student of this school I attended there in 19 86 in 87 it changed my life it taught me love it taught me responsibility and as I look back gave me a great start in life I will always remember this school my name used to be Charles Thompson everyone called me CT.

I went to Vashti today to drop off gifts for a child we shopped for. Once again I was greeted by 2 of the staff that were extremely kind. My heart has been touched by Vashti and the staff and all they do here for the kids that live here. It is amazing. I will be volunteering and hoping to become a mentor. Everyone I have met are warm and so kind. A wonderful place! I pray god continues to work in this special place.
The Vashti center lacks wamed and is more an institution than group home. Some of the staff honestly care and make good honest efforts to .make differences in the childrens lives. Unfortunately many staff at the girl cottage take a more us vs them approach. No loving hugs or caring has ever been noteß incottage by the staff myover 16 months of. Isifa
Went there on a mission trip and it touched my heart in a more profound way than ever before. I've done this stuff for six years. Bless this place.
