Verified Renter I moved to SF from Chicago and Vara was one of the numerous places I saw in the 1 day I had to find an apartment when I was visiting for work. The location, building/amenities and apartment hit on everything I wanted in a place. Leasing and moving in was so easy - manly to the extremely friendly staff (everyone from the leasing office to maintenance staff are just about the nicest people you can meet). Couldn't be more thrilled with a new place in a new city!

Beautiful apartment with amazing events and staff Vara is very conveniently located near Valencia, a number of grocery stores, bart and almost anything one would need to live happily! The staff is extremely helpful and service requests are completed very quickly. Hello Alfred service is just amazing and saves a lot of time and effort! Very bad management I can fully agree with reviews before! Pretty sad for a nice apartment complex like this. Valley garbage is a joke and they even force you to pay for it ??

Trash! Do you like only being able to dispose of garbage during a two how window, five nights a week, in the early evening? Do you enjoy coming home to hallways filled with trash just sitting outside? Beautiful from the outside - nightmare from the inside. First of all they are overpriced. That's fine as long as you're fine paying the extra money but you can easily get options with $1k less budget / month anywhere close. Neighborhood is the most unsafe and creepy in San Francisco.
