Verified Renter Vara is a great place to live! The staff and amenities are amazing and it's very close to Valencia Street which is HUGE!! Having a full gym is a luxury and if you're living in the Mission, this is pretty much the only luxury apartment building around. Would definitely recommend - only thing to caution is the surrounding area can be filled with homeless people (which is sadly common on SF) but that's not Vara's fault. Once you're inside it's very safe :)

For the price and amenities it beats a lot of communities in the area, and it’s also in a great location if you like to spend time in the Mission, SOMA, Dolores Park, Castro, and Duboce Triangle areas. Verified Renter I've lived here for a year and it's been amazing. The building is great. I love my apartment. The management and staff is very responsive and helpful. I needed short term parking spaces and they were more than accommodating. The issues in the apartment were resolved within the same day of raising them. I would definitely recommend Vara to anyone looking for a place in Mission.

Verified Renter Otherwise once inside the parameters of the building it's a little Oasis can be a little noisy from the streets and sometimes the parties in some of the apartments
