Great food, staff, atmosphere, and drinks! – Was just at Vango last weekend for a party, and had a blast! The staff was excellant, food was served quickly and was amazing. The sushi was fresh and the best around. Even if you don't like sushi, there is sure to be something on the menu for you. They have a list of cocktails specific to Vango, and I've tried most of them, and I wasn't let down at all. It's really easy to book a private party there, just call or send an email. People friendly, and definately worth a visit.
Loved the atmosphere! – The skybar is amazing, no matter how cold it is, you have to get upstairs and check it out. No cover charge, which is great. Food was excellant, as were their signature cocktails. The view from the roofdeck was beautiful and I definately recommend checking this place out!
Great Price, Great View, Great Music – I just hosted an office party this weekend at Vango and was totally impressed. The food was amazing, and the ambiance was sleek and comfortable. The crowd was of the city's finest and the roofdeck overlooks Rittenhouse Square. DJ's were located on both the main floor and the roofdeck, playing both house and hip hop music. With a friendly staff, delicious food, and great atmosphere, how can you go wrong?
ALWAYS FUN – I always have a great time at Vango. The atmosphere is relaxed, the food is great, the servers/bartenders talk to you while your waiting for the rest of your party to arrive, and the is no particular dress code. Unlike other places such as Pearl and G Lounge in Rittenhouse,, Vango lets you enter the club if you are wearing sneakers and jeans. And one more thing... there is NO COVER CHARGE! Great Atmosphere, check it out! – Great drink menu, amazing atmosphere! Food is Japanese fusion, and is delicious every time.. Staff is always helpful and I would recommend this place to anyone. The skybar is great for dancing under the stars, to a live DJ, every night! I travel from Allentown frequently just to visit Vango with my friends. I had my bachelorette and birthday party here. The hooked me up with specials for my guests and a cake! Definately worth stopping in!
Worst service/drinks – Let me begin by questioning the outrageously overpriced bottle service.If an establishment is going to charge $200 for a lukewarm bottle of Veuve, at least make sure the glasses are 1)devoid of lipstick 2)not chipped and 3) full.If the bartender gives herself a 20% gratuity for this service should she not fill the glasses at least once?Smoking is allowed.Even by the bartender BEHIND the bar.Why exactly did the genius cut holes in the wall for Goose only to have the labels facing away.Perhaps because Gr... read more
A place that meets your expectations – Last Sunday, I invited my friends to Vango for a graduation party. We are actually from New York, so after reading in Market Watch magazine that Vango was one of the best places in America, I was quickly convinced to make the trip down to Philly. Good for music and atmosphere, but the food - not so good – I was excited about trying this place out. We sat on the upper outside deck, which has a great view - but the lighting was horrible. It was pitch black w/ no candles or anything. You couldn't see your food to eat.
