Worst museum I have ever visited. The cost is outrageous compared to how small the museum is. Most museums I get there in the morning and I'm ready around closing time. This one took at most 2 hours. Would be more reasonable if the price was $10 or if it was a better quality museum. For a large city in north america, it was embarrassing. Only go if there's an exhibit you want to see or if you like being cheated out of your dollars
A beautiful gallery with exquisite exhibits! I enjoyed it very much!
Great floors of intrigue. Great work and lots of historical and indigenous influences which was great to see. Staff very friendly
Great exhibits during our visit. My favorite was "Cabin Fever", exploring various cultures' cabin design, purpose of materials or layout used and how cabin design has evolved and influences design today as well as commercial influence (i.e. LL Bean).
I love the gallery so much! Every exhibition takes me somewhere and the experience is amazing. Sometimes I walk around looking through every piece, reading the descriptions, and sometimes I sit and stare at the piece that amazed me the most. I should also highlight that the staff is wonderful, so friendly and helpful every time.
I loved the cabin fever!! Great place with good exhibitions!
Loved the Out to Lunch piano recital - what a bonus for visiting Aussies and a nice way to spend a rainy Fri in Vancouver. The current exhibitions were interesting (more so than I expected) my only criticism is I felt the exit options were very limited when you were on the top level of the gallery due to the escalator work.
Good location and extend place for people , balance with city and culture in Vancouver.
My first visit to the gallery, ever. Takashi Murakami exhibit did not disappoint! Also enjoyed the other displays Bombhead and Emily Carr. We even went to the cafe at the gallery, which was better than expected. See you next time!
