This is my first time at Valvoline and will be my last. I’m not one to write reviews but I feel as if this is warranted. Just brought our car in for just a quick oil change as we were short on time. I will say that it was very fast and the staff were pleasant and professional. However, it cost $65 with a coupon. Without the coupon it would have been $74!! I went to get my oil changed today. I've been to the valvoline inTorrington at least 12 times. I went in Dec 2019 and asked for a gift certificate for a xmas gift, and there were people sitting in the waiting room. today, I was told for the past 2 years you had to stay in your car and couldn't get out. I had to inhale all the chemical fumes. I asked to sit in the waiting room b/c I was feeling unwell. they said no. RecommendedThey were quick and friendly. I made it known to them I noticed that the fender protector fell off and the mechanic was dragging the oil hose over my fender, which I did not appreciate. Hopefully this will not get overlooked in the future with any other vehicles.
Had a coupon for 19.99 oil change that expired four days ago. Would not take the coupon so my 20 oil change ended up costing me 45 dollars. Way too expensive and there are too many other places to get oil changes in town. See ya !! Done with you guys.
Don’t like the new oil change procedure, you drive in and sit in the vehicle while they do your oil change, they also no longer do emissions. Have been a customer since they opened their doors. No more!!! Was charged above and beyond the Groupon for no additional service.
Waited one hour for an emissions test while watching four other customers come and go that had come in after me. Watched behind the glass as these guys had their fun and paid no attention to me.When I questioned the mechanic he was rude and disrespectful. A call to the manager the next day was pointless as he was just as rude and impolite. No way to treat a customer.
