I cant speak for anyone else but myself when I say this but ,I am a current resident here @ the valora & when i recently went to pay my rent ON TIME , STAMPED ,DATED & COPIED RECIEPTS ,I had an eviction notice on my door 5 days later , because the landlord did not post my rent on time . When confronted about this I asked "Did you post my rent on time?" his response was "some peoples were, & some were not ". As if I was asking about other people , I only care about my bills & rent being paid , its everyone for themselves out ... read more

Valora homewood has worst apartments. When I move in to apartment the AC ducts are blocked there was no air coming from the them even when the HVAC is working which results in high electricity bills and very cold in winter. There management knew the problem and didnot fix it by saying that this cannot be fixed. They are also not guving another apaertment asking more money for that. I am stuck now. Dont trust this complex they are worst.

If I could rate them an -0 I would. I have had flooding in my apartment and had to fix my own apartment up because they were canceling Maintaince request for over an year. My washer dryer combo hasn’t worked fully and properly since Iv lived here and I’m just now getting a new one which still doesn’t work. On top of that the contractors they hired to fix it actually detached a pipe which caused another water damage in my kitchen, and unscrewed my dishwasher and never screwed it back resulting in damaged clothes, horrible sme... read more

Non-existing building maintenance, bug infestation, and just a unsafe place to live. They have had multiple shootings and fires. Not to mention they will not fix anything. The management change is a joke. This is still the worst place you could live.

I have lived at this apartment complex for less than 6 months. I recently reached out to leasing manager and staff regarding my neighbor's dog who lives above me poop landing on my balcony. Their response was call pest control. A joke! Pest control...they could care less regarding a matter...my advise to others...think twice before you move here. I pay 823.94 per month for rent. Somebody tell me what pest control has to do with this....you call pest control regarding rodents bugs etc. They were no help at all.

This apartment complex is the worst ever! I wouldn't recommend anyone to live here. They are infested, they take months for maintenance calls; no matter what the call is for, most of the staff is rude and unprofessional, they never solve problems or return calls, they do not/did not ensure the Safety of the property or us renters. I lived here for one year and it was a nightmare on elm street! I have filed a formal complaint on the staff due to negligence. This place and their moldy, broken, and unmaintained apartments with the biggest roaches I’ve ever seen is beyond repair. Please don’t make the mistake and lease from them. You might like from surface but this place is a dump and their lack of professionalism is a complete joke. The manager there is rude and heartless and the employees don’t seem to care about residents as well and will catch an attitude with you in no time just for requesting needed info.
