Brought my daughter in a couple days ago. Her first ever being in a hospital and staying the night. It was all new for her, she was very scared. All the nurses made her feel very welcomed. Trying they're best to gain her trust. They made her feel very comfortable as possible. There taking wonderful care of my baby girl. Far from the best hospital I've ever been to. Thank you all for everything you do for my little girl to make her feel safe.
Back in 2008 my son was taken to Memorial Hospital in Bakersfield. The ER doctor determined my son needed to be treated at Valley Children's Hospital because it was his best chance of surviving Meningitis. The helicopter flew down and took my son, who was only 4, on his life saving flight to the most amazing hospital ever. Once there, the amazing doctors determined my son had meningococcemia sepsis. It really bugs me that I always get there early to get my son labs done, we get there before u open wait patiently and sign in and watch the next 5 people sign in after us go in and leave and then to finally get called back to registration and to the room to them still taking forever to set up and then to say oh I'm sorry he not going to let us and we only have one other girl that can help me but she's busy too so it will be even longer and then make me be the bad guy and hold my son down for you to do your job. Well, wish that I wasn't here for the same reason that my other daughter was here for but I'm glad that we have this wonderful facility. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful, very informative and always answer any questions that we may have for anything and everything.
One of the BEST hospitals ive been to ! Experienced from taking my little one to my brother ❤ Nurses are great , friendly and show you how much they enjoy doing what they do ! Everyone makes you feel like your home its amazing doctors are GREAT ! if i can give 10 stars i would .

Super nice and always quick to get to my kids and always helpful watching my little boy running around
My newborn was transported from Bakersfield via medi-vac. We were there for 19 days and received nothing but the best treatment and care. We are so thankful for all of the wonderful doctors and nurses who helped save our daughter's life.
