My daughter signed an agreement to start the lease application process for summer quarter. They asked her for a $500. deposit to start this process. We did not sign a lease, and within 4 business days my daughter figured out that the lease she'd signed for fall quarter (at another location) actually started summer quarter. She needed to stop the lease application process at Valencia, and of course get at least some of that "deposit" back. No go. After just 4 business days, they will not refund any of our $500. deposit. As far as off-campus student centered apartments go, this is one of the better options. For the money, the facilities are higher quality than Mustang Village, this includes the pool, study rooms, and gym. Maintenance staff was quick to respond and usually did a good job. Would recommend for second or third year students who are wanting a bit more independence and seclusion.

My experience at Valencia was wonderful. I was always taken care of due to the the strong effort of the Valencia staff, Cherie especially made me feel welcomed, taken care of, and at home.
