I called from Chicago in pain and desperation because there was a complication in the extraction of a wisdom tooth. The dentist could not get to all of the tooth and a part of the root remained lodged in my gums where pain, and possibly infection, was setting in. The receptionist sneered at me when I said I was on Illinois medicaid, basically "get lost, and never mind us helping you find somebody else."
