the price we paid for this room was not acceptable to me. No room for two people in the bathroom and no hot water at all. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. Wedding on the lawn the night we were there. The guy started putting the chairs away at 7:15AM while we were still sleeping. I have spent less money and gotten more in hotels in Portland. I wouldn't stay there again but not discouraging others.
My new husband and I got married here a little over three weeks ago. During the entire process before the wedding, Roger worked with us to ensure that everything was the way we wanted and that all of our questions were answered quickly. When it came to the big day he and his staff worked so hard to prepare for the wedding and helped set up and break down the event for us. Beautiful view. Great room. Close to downtown Hood River. Great recommendations for dinner. This has to be one of the most beautiful and friendly places in the world.
Perfect, secluded park-like setting to rest and recharge. Lovely flowers and grounds. Tall pines and oaks. Plenty of picnic tables. Enjoyed watching children and dogs play on the event center lawn in the evenings. Glad to see our US flag flying and find a Bible tucked in the drawer.
Comfortable, large room overlooking the Columbia. Pleasant, professional staff. A beautiful location. Free wine bottle openers. Comfortable king bed. Quiet - we were at the back.
