***Went down there today (01/24/17) to the eligibility office. Gentleman there was amazing. Gave me all the info i needed and more. Helped to the best of his ability.*** Been calling the eligibility office for almost 3 weeks now. All the phone does is ring ring ring ring. Called the operator thinking they can get me through and they send me to the same damn thing. Even called the ext I was given by my MEB NCO....guess what.....ring ring ring ring. Can barley walk, no pain meds, no sleep and need surgery. I'm losing my mind.
Save my life(4bypasses) helped with depression quick response to perceptions . A little to busy.
Parking at this facility is sub-par. The valets show little to no sense of urgency. Don't be late for anything, because they will not make an effort to walk faster than a snails pace. If you choose to park yourself, there is little chance of finding a spot within proximity to the building 2 entrance. I have heard on numerous occasions that the parking lots are filled with Yale Hospital employees who then take the shuttle, thus taking the limited patient parking. This is unsatisfactory.
GET A PARKING LOT THAT WORK`S I SPENT 1/2 HOUR TO PARK 1/2 HOUR TO GET MY CAR ,THEN THEY RETERN IT ON A DEAD END ROAD PARKED THE WRONG WAY GOOD LUCK TURNING AROUND WHAT A MESS
This morning I had an appointment at the West Haven Veterans Hospital and took the shuttle from the Newington Veterans Hospital to West Haven. The shuttle was right on time and got me to my appointment 15 minutes early. The staff at West Haven got me into the doctor on schedule and I received fantastic service. The shuttle back was on schedule and couldn't have been better. The vans were in great condition, clean and the drivers were terrific.
