My dad (Donald Richard Paccio) is a disabled Veteran.....never been to a hospital that was so polite from staff and everyone else employed there!!! I highly recommend this to any disabled Veteran....they were so kind to my mom dad && myself!!! Love that place!! GOD BLESS WE HAVE A PLACE FOR OUR MEN THAT SEVERED OUR COUNTY....I SALUTE TO ALL OUR VETERANS! !
Really, Really Poor. It is 13:20 and I just got kicked out of rec room. No other veteran was there. I'm just sitting there min minding my own business, watching TV when this moron comes over and tells me I have to leave. I really hate this facility. Every thing about it is Poor, Poor, Poor!!!!!
Unlike some of you on this page I've really never had any problems with the VA at all. If you try to have a positive attitude it usually rubs off on the people you are dealing with.
The ONLY reason I "liked" this page is to let everyone know how absolutely awful this place is. They don't give two F's about us veterans and are the most unorganized, unethical, useless jerks I could ever imagine having to deal with! For goodness sakes my THERAPIST was DRUNK my first appointment with her!!!! They REFUSE TO REFERME ELSEWHERE... Even when they can't see me within two months!!!! I've only been out here for a year and almost every time I leave this place I'm in TEARS! IS THIS REALLY HOW YOU SHOULD TREAT AND OEF... read more

Iv been trying to get into PTSD counseling for two years. It's no wonder so many of us end our own lives everyday when places like Ft Roots is our only option for help. I have been told by many VA employees in the years I have begged for help that the only way to get anyone to seem interested in getting you help is to say you feel like harming yourself.
