I have always received great service and care at Ft. Roots. I do have a problem, I need to contact the office that takes care of compensation and disability for veterans. I currently receive a benefit and I need to talk with the personnel in the office that handles this need but I don't remember the office number, just that it was in building 66, I do believe. As a Veteran and an Employee, I can say with complete confidence that Fort Roots is the best VA hospital around!! The patients love us and we always strive to represent I CARE to the fullest!!
What a great car show yesterday Nov 6th 2016....great weather, a great crowd and of course the most important thing our great veterans...both young and old. It was a real pleasure for me to enjoy a beautiful day and watch the veterans enjoying the day looking at the great cars and bikes.... and least we forget if it wasn't for these guys...we probably wouldn't be driving our Corvettes, Mustangs or riding our Harley's .... I had to go to the North Little Rock VA today for a six month follow up for a surgery I had earlier this year at the Little Rock VA Hospital. I live 15 minutes from the Memphis VA, but I choose to drive the two hours to North Little Rock to be seen. (Even though I'm a disabled veteran, I tried to get an appointment at the Memphis VA for two years and couldn't get any help.) I've said it before and I'll say it again. It's great... I go here myself... The Dr.'s & staff here are very helpful I feel comfortable with them all so far... I'm so thankful for having them all that I've come in contact with... They have treated me & my late husband well & with the up most respect... I am pleased with them...
