My wife left there with a UTI and an infected wound that requited 6 additional weeks of 24/7 IV antibiotic treatment at a different nursing facility. Never again.
Thank you to everyone at uw health rehabilitaion hospital. Because of their dedication, training, education, and hard work I am well on my way to recoving from laparoscopic appendectomy. Thank you also to scientists and medical researchers of the past and future.
MY MIRACLE HOSPITAL! I absolutely loved every single person I came in contact with during my stay. I thought my days of living a normal life was over, but because of the wonderful staff at UWHRH I now have a totally different train of thought. Not only will they help strengthen you body, but they'll help strengthen your mind as well... I have only visited my friend who is undergoing rehab and physical therapy there currently (just a day after he was transferred there) but he, his family and I are pleased with his improvement already. The staff I have met so far are very kind and professional. I will have the opportunity to visit him ar least twice a week, so I am looking forward to meeting more of the staff and cheering on my dear friend. Not a single day passed that there wasn't laughter in such relaxed atmosphere, despite my struggling with the amputation of my leg above the knee and a liver transplant operation. Everyone of the entire staff was very friendly, professional and understanding; yet demanding regarding the progress to be made. It was difficult for me to leave this new, modern rehabilitation facility. Hopefully I was not too much of a cranky patient.... (April 2017)
