Excellent staff and therapists. Thanks to all the staff, I feel ready to go home. Casey , James, Cheryl, Marie and Kris were great! Nursing care was great too.
Business response:
Sue Engebretson, we're happy you found our staff to be so supportive during your experience here at UW Health Rehabilitation Hospital. - Chris B.
Highlights include recreational therapy, occupational, therapy, and physical therapy. Physical therapy helped me walk again and strengthen my leg muscles. I have hope that I may walk again. Rec therapy helped me organize ideas about activities I can do after I get out that I will enjoy.
Business response:
We appreciate you sharing your positive experience with us. - Chris B.
I would not trust a hospital that employs this person.
My lower left leg was amputated 4/7/20. I was transported to UW Health Rehabilitation Hospital 4/10. On 4/11/2020 I woke up down, out and very lonely. The nurses, nurses assistants, Drs., custodians, case workers and physical therapists did not let me go further down. They kicked my butt and got me going every day. They did it with passion, skill, care and love. Thank you for making a difference in my life. Breck
I suffered my stroke at the the age of 43 and it is because of this great place and the rehabilitation team I am back to 90 % - the only place to go if you need rehabilitation from a stroke!!
how is someone supposed to recover from anything when it seems that every 1/2 hour, all day and night long there is a door slamming shut and or a toilet is flushing the first two nights that I was here, it sounded like a party at the nurses station, I understand that everyone can make work a little bit of fun , but not at the expense of the patients.
Doctors here are terrible. Don't expect any communication even if they say they are going to after treatment. Good luck getting cleared to do anything again. Work? Forget about it. Drive. Haha funny. All other doctors says they would of cleared me without an issue weeks ago. Avoid this place especially Dr. Deutsch like the plague.
