The staff and services were great for my mom yesterday. It was a successful surgery and we were very happy!!
One year ago today I went into the Carbone Cancer Center under the care of Dr. Williams and all the support team assembled for my first chemo treatment for Lymphoma. It was a GREAT day!!! It was the day that the cancer was going to die!! Today I am in remission. Today and every day is even better than the last. Thank you for all you do and the kindness you show!!
My husband has been coming to the Carbone Cancer Center for 2 years. In this two year time we have both been treated with the greatest respect and my husband could not ask for better care. The Drs., nurses all who have taken care of my husband have been without a doubt the most compassionate and caring people I have ever encountered. Thank you all for your great service to all the patients and families, you treat us all so very good.
My experience at Carbone has been nothing short of phenomenal. The nurses I've had the pleasure of dealing with were all compassionate and caring. I just came out of remission after three years, but have no doubt that I will go back into remission. I've had nothing but positive experiences with the new doctors-to-be as well as with the nursing students. My mom was treated for cervical cancer here for a year and a half. I brought her to every appointment. Sometimes we had a good experience and sometimes it was horrible. There are some doctors and nurses who really go above and beyond and treat the patients the way someone going through a cancer diagnosis should be treated, but with the nature of it being a teaching hospital, often times the patients get lost in the crowd and fall in the cracks as there are too many people involved with not enough communication between them. ... read more
