They're saving my son's life. They could be the worst assholes ever and I would still give them a 5 star review. Thankfully they aren't horrible. In fact every person we have dealt with in this organization has been unbelievably supportive, empathetic and accommodating. Having a doctor take the time to reassure worried parents is very good medicine. Yeah, that $12K per month drug he prescribed is good too, but taking the time to explain why is very therapeutic in its own right. Thank You!!!
Usually I have exceptional care at the center but my latest experience was not one I want to repeat. Although I understand there are circumstances beyond their control but it seemed like there was a lack of nurses. The nurses doing their jobs were doing their best and doing 2 or 3 people's jobs. I waited 2 and a half hours to be called back to a bay and another to be hooked to my chemo. This is usually not the case. I have always been treated with respect. I have been dealing with this cancer issue for 20 years. Dr. Hartenbach and Lisa Berilet and staff are fantastic. Wish I didn't have to come here. But, if I have to I have the best care...
We have now had several appointments for my wife's breast cancer and the staff here is by far the best in the business.
I can't say enough about everyone at the cancer center. Each and every member of the team there is so compassionate and upbeat every time my husband arrived for treatment. We were always greeted with a smile and a genuine "How are you today?" Even when I heard any of them talking with other patients I could feel that they really cared to hear what the patients had to say, they slowed down and really listened to them.
