I wasn't sure what I was going to do with my 2 year old while my older son went on the rides. We found the backyard play area for little kids and had a blast!
I thinks it's really expensive since the last time I went.
We love going to the fair! This year it was just ok. I have an elderly parent that goes with us and there just isn't enough seating for them or anyone for that matter, especially in the ride area where they would love to watch their kids/grandkids enjoy the rides. Prices continue to go up but it's the same old same old. It seemed like there were less vendors this year (I could be wrong). On the plus side, the new arena is pretty awesome and we enjoyed the rodeo!
I think parking is a joke. Paying $10 for parking. I'm sorry it should be free. Most places serving food is extremely over priced. However i did find one place that was very reasonable. Grandma's minis has the best cake donuts and my husband liked the the hand dipped cake batter hot dogs. The adult chicken basket was awesome. We will be bringing our own cooler with water bottles next year. I spent more on water bottles then I did food. $3 a bottle by 4 people times however many times we went back for more. Too much. I lost a small black wallet with a gold zipper. I lost it at the Fair Saturday night, it fell out of my pocket. My drivers license, debit & credit cards are in it. My wallet looks similar to the wallet in the picture but not exact. (pic in comments) Mine also has a gold key chain. If you happened to pick it up, please PM me.
