They should add more booths that would be more fun to walk by instead of buying things they should have more games and rides that should not cost money and they should make the awesome rodeo longer
The parking should be free and as much as you pay to get in the parking shouldn't be on dirt. When you pay for parking and the cost to get in you end up with no money to spend that's why you are losing venders.
We go to the State Fair every year! My sons birthday is Sept 11. And for his birthday EVERY year, he wants us all to go to the fair. Well this year we were extremely disappointed!!! Most of the fair was food vendors!! It SUCKED!!!! There was hardly anything!!!!!! We never go in the rides, so I don't know about that part. But we were not happy!!!! And what happened to the wooden sign makers? They are ALWAYS there! And we almost always buy one!! What happened with everything?!?!?!
Best it's been in years! Lots of food Circus was entertaining.
$10.00 for parking is ridiculous. Food is way overpriced. Animal entries are dwindling year by year. Criteria for judging photo entries seems subjective at best. I like to come to the state fair but I see it going away permanently if changes are not made.
I love State Fairs. Fun and festive. This is the 4th year I have been invited to offer egg carving demonstrations for the public. Interacting with the patrons is a blast. I hope I am given this opportunity again in the future.
I really enjoy seeing the sights and hearing the sounds of the State Fair. We were able to catch the Circus show and the Lumberjack show. Both were fun and entertaining. I finally had a turkey leg at the fair and realized, there is no graceful way to eat a turkey leg. Lots of good foods and treats to eat and try.
The advertisement for the fair are a slap in the face to our education system.
