I just had my 6 month follow up today with Dr. Bowling. I am so glad I finally decided to have the surgery. I had suffered from urinary leakage for almost 10 years and just kept putting off getting fixed. Dr. Bowling was kind, explained everything and took the time to answer my questions. He let me make the decisions that were best for me after giving me all the options. If you have an issue with incontinence, see Dr. B as soon as you can. He'll change your life for the better.

Frankly I don’t understand the less than 5 star reviews for Dr. Bowling. The staff is friendly and professional. The wait time is under 10 minutes. Dr. Bowling examined me, explained clearly my diagnosis and suggested treatment. He was very professional and thorough. He did not seem rushed and his instructions were very clear. He told me when he want a follow up appointment and reminded me 2-3 times to cal his office if I had questions or concerns in the interim before my next appointment. My prescription was called in to my... read more

I was sent to see Dr.Bowling by my internist after I complained about leaking urine and feeling a bulge. Both problems have gotten worse in recent months. Dr Bowling gave me options for both surgery and a device to put in that would help with symptoms. I ultimately chose surgery. I just had my 3 week follow up and I'm so glad I went through with it. Dr. Bowling is caring and compassionate. I feel so much better now - like I can enjoy life again. I see now why people say he's the best in the area. If you have problems like I ... read more

What a wonderful experience this turned out to be. After fearing for months and months that I was going to have a horribly painful surgery I was able to find a solution with Dr Bowling and his staff that did not even require surgery. He was pleasant and kind and very knowledgeable. I would recommend him to anyone.

Would not recommend to anyone. Rushed through my first and only appt where before he even examined me he said he wanted to continue OR. Then did the exam and proclaimed I had pelvic floor dysfunction which was nothing more than being tense from the discussion. Spent 20 minutes with us total and didn't plan to have another appt before the procedure date for questions. Told me they would answer question at the pre anesthesia appt and they don't do that there. This is the only dr who has ever caused pain on a pelvic exam for me... read more

The bad review below seems a little odd. This is the best physician I've ever seen in my life. I had horrible incontinence and pain and he had both problems resolved in less than three months. I generally do not like going to physicians at all but this is one position that I do not mind making the 40-minute drive to see. He and his staff are wonderful.

Awful experience. I cannot begin to explain how little he made me feel. Like I was beneath him.

My obgyn doc sent me to Dr. Bowling after he found mesh when I complained about pain down there. My urologist had placed a sling back in 2014 and apparently it was coming through. He said that was what had been causing my pain. It also wasn't working either because I was still leaking. I went through a quick procedure to remove a piece of mesh and then Dr. Bowling put a better sling in. I'm doing awesome now. I don't leak and I don't hurt. I'm so thankful for Dr. B!!

After 2 failed surgeries at another hospital, I was sent by my urologist to see Dr. Bowling. I had to wait about 4 months for an appointment, but I understand now the reason for the wait - He's completely worth it! I was diagnosed with grade 3 prolapse. He sat down with me and presented all the options for treatment. Ultimately, I decided on surgery. Had to wait almost 4 additional months for surgery, but it was worth it to finally have it fixed! I just got released on my final post-op visit, and I have not felt this great i... read more
