RecommendedOn July 25th 2019 my son was involved in a accident in Downtown Knoxville There was a flash arch and 480 volt burnt my son over 41% of his body.He was taken by ambulance to U.T where he was loaded into Lifestar and taken to Vanderbilt.I watched from the parking lot the helicopter take a piece of my heart . So thankful for the group of folks that hold down this job everyday & always make things happen no matter what horrific tragedy or issue that they may come upon. September of 2019 these folks helped in saving my child's life. I will forever be thankful for that day. Prayers always! God is definitely with each & everyone of us. God bless all 🙏

One year ago yesterday Lifestar flew my 20 year old baby to UT after hitting (and splitting in half) a utility pole. They lost him and revived him on the flight from Oak Ridge to UT. They came to visit him in the hospital after 4 days just to see how he was doing. God was with my son that day and God was with the Rockwood UT Lifestar crew. I am forever grateful to Lifestar. One year later my son is doing great. We just celebrated his one year Alive day. Blessed beyond measure and grateful for such caring, professionals!
The flight crews of LifeStar are of an higher caliber. They go above and beyond as they did for me. To one unknown male flight nurse, I want to thank you for being exceptional and going out of your way. Thank you
