How could I recommend a school which doesn't support their faculty when they do their jobs correctly? You've chosen ideology over education.

The ultimate lesson from the appalling mishandling of Prof.Patton, who did nothing wrong yet was suspended because ignorant USC students were triggered by the Mandarin language, is that a degree from the USC Marshall School of Business is not worth the paper it is printed on.

I would never hire a business grad from USC. Bunch of uncultured muttonheads with zero tolerance for foreign languages.

They fired a teacher for teaching mandarin. In Mandarin there is a word that sounds like an American racial slur. Uneducated students complained and rather than accept that the 6000 year old Mandarin word is NOT the 200 year old American slur, they fired a perfectly qualified professor. Apparently they expect 20% of the worlds population to change their language because it might offend a non mandarin speaker.

This university has set a dangerous precedence by suspending a professor for merely pronouncing a Chinese word, during a communications class, that offended a group of students. He did nothing wrong, and anyone who listened to the video clip, would agree. I believe this university violated the professor's right to freedom of speech. https://youtu.be/4M0aD78sw8U

Everybody is incredulous about the reaction of the students in the Master's program. These people are a danger to society in general and should perhaps study something that will coddle them throughout life. A government job, perhaps? God save us all.
