I went in 2 months ago for an stay for extreme pain in my upper right arm. Was rushed to the ER where I was told that I had a mass eating away the bone. Since then they have gotten me into surgery, I have seen a Radiation Therapist who will start on me as soon as the bone Dr says I am ready. My VA oncologist has started my treatment on her end. They have been wonderful.
I had a surprise compensation reevaluation and we drove up. The kiosks make it easy to check in for your appointment and submit your travel claim. The PA we saw was very nice, understanding and kind. My experiences in the past haven't always been the best and that's being kind. She was cognitive of my nervousness and apprehension and was very reassuring and comforting. The only downside of these exams are my pain levels are usually "through the roof" afterwards, but that's not their fault.
First time to this VA was sent there by St. Louis this place is amazing the people the clinics staff everything about this place. Compared to St. Louis on a scale of 1 to 10. Marion is a ten. Jefferson barracks a 5. And John cockren 1. JC needs to be demolished staff fired and new hospital built new staff hired. The place is a cancer on the VA system.
Took my dad on 2 13 17 he is a Vietnam veteran and he received outstanding care can't thank you all enough
