My son went to have a problem seen about. The doctors were very nice, and he had no problem with the way he was treated. However, he was prescribed a medication that needed authorization for the insurance to pay. The doctor's staff needed to contact the insurance company and provide information to them so they could authorize it. A week has now passed, and he still can't get them to do their job! RecommendedSaw Dr Massie for kidney stones and related complications. She was responsive and helpful as were her nurse and the imaging team.

Dr Cox and his entire team in Trussville have successfully performed three surgeries on my bladder and prostate. They are excellent in every regard and I have been blessed to be their patient. I’m always recommending them and have sent many friends their way.
They have excelled in all my procedures and everything else.
twice ive been referred to this facility and twice ive canceled my appointment because instead of them knowing what information they need from my referral source they make me call and try to explain to them what they need. And instead of me being able to send them my new client paperwork, i have to show up 30 minutes early for my appointment for some asinine reason? I've used Urology Centers of Alabama for more than 30 years. I use Dr. Kitchens and love her because she is a wonderful doctor and is caring and attentive. I saw Dr. Lutz yesterday for a kidney stone because Dr. Kitchens was not in the office. He was so concerned and I felt like I've been seeing him for years. He has called me twice to follow up on my visit. Very unusual in this day for a physician to call you personally. They require social security numbers in order to be treated as an insurance patient. You can provide your driver’s license and insurance card yet they still require the social security number. They off no guarantee that they won’t be hacked. They off nothing. I don’t recommend this facility.
