Great loving place for pets!!! I have always brought our yorkie babies here for their care. They do an amazing job. I have never been let down. They were great for emergency issues as well. Best place in the Cumberland and reasonable. No reason to neglect your pet!!
Dr Thompson and staff are compassionate and caring. I have taken a dog in severe neuro distress into them, and they helped him live another happy year. As far as the horse community, after working at UTCVM for years, Upper Cumberland is my only choice. Anyone with inquiries can call me. He's the only option in Spruce Creek.
Romeo was excited to meet all of the little dogs in the waiting room. Pet people are the best. Dr. Thompson was met with excitement and tail wags from my big boy and answered all of my questions. Clean bill of health means peace of mind for this dog mom. Thanks, UCVC!
we had been going to upper Cumberland vet for a few years, but never again...after two different negative trips to them I have come to a conclusion that it's all about the money to them and not the true well being for our pets...I was over charged twice by them with no regard for what was really needed...I feel I was taken advantage...unless you have a deep pocket full of money and don't care about what the truth being told about your pets...never again will take my pets there...it's all about money to them....
Took my dog in to get neutered. Staff was rude to begin with. When my dog got out he was swollen a little (Which is to be expected). By day 2 he was whining and his swollen area had grown twice in size. When I called to ask about it they informed me that there was nothing they could do. Instead they informed me that if I didn't have his cone turned in I would be charged. (It was day 2 and he had to have it 14 days). So I took him to best friends and he had got an infection from upper cumberland and was not given any medicine... read more
I lost my cat of nine years last weekend after taking him to UCVC-- but this is no complaint. I know they did everything they could and they were so kind while we were there. I'm tearing up as I write this because I miss him so much but I just wanted to say that I checked my mail today and found a hand written sympathy card from the staff. I never imagined they would do such a thing but I am so grateful, for that and everything they did.
Dr. Thompson is an amazing human being. The love he showed our Buster & our family will never be forgotten.
