upmc wound care doctor. i said i wont take my water pills because they are causing cramps. first he said that wasnt the reason i was getting cramps. Then i explained how i stop taking the pills and the cramps went away. he didnt want to hear. once again i said i wouldn't take water pils. he stuck out his hand and shook mine. said nice meeting you and walked away. yep top of the line doctor there. what a jagoff.
I have their insurance. I have very bad back problems. My name is Greg Finney. My Dr has prescribed me Lyrica for the pain and UPMC insurance keeps denying it. My doctor has sent supporting documentation. And appealed it. And still turns me down. I had affective pain relief with the samples. I am a business owner. I have several employees on my insurance. This place is the worst! Don’t go here if you want a chance to live. You can be on one floor, and they tell you one thing. Move to another floor and tell you another. Hope you have good insurance!
You have been refusing care for several years to people just because you did not like their insurance plan (an insurance plan my employer chose, not me). I will NEVER use your services again, even if you were forced to make nice with Highmark. You should be ashamed of the way you do business....you care only about profit and not about your patients
I don't like what they did to my dad after 47 years of service. They lied and made up something to get rid of him. My daddy is a good person and did not deserve this. I left my UPMC health plan today. I am happy to leave them. They only care about money and mistakes instead of old fashion properly done work!
Billing is absolutely horrible. Rude to say the least, and I just got this bill today and the due date is in the past, yet the statement date is June 14th. Plus, I just made a payment a week or so ago. They really need to get their act together

Allow Highmark Insureds access to the doctors that they have used for years and decades. UPMC gets my tax money. They get tax breaks as a nonprofit. STOP THEM MONOPOLY. START CARING ABOUT THE PATIENT. A CEO of a nonprofit making 8.54 million in 2018 is absurd. Care about the patients. Care about the doctors. You are making my 88 year old mother find a new doctor. Heartbreaking and abusive.
