My husband has been there for two days now waiting for surgery for a broken leg. He's been on NPO the entire time and still no word as to when he will actually have the procedure done. He broke his leg Thursday and was transferred to Erie from Jamestown. So in total he hasn't had anything to eat since Wednesday and nothing to drink since Thursday. Great diet plan for a Type 1 diabetic! And so he just lays there in tremendous pain and says he's starving!
My last experience at Magee-Womens Hospital was so painful and uncomfortable in every way. I don't even like going down there anymore for my Appointments or Emergencies. Sn: Dont leave prescription bottles in the patients rooms to take independently. I could've "Overdosed" if I was suffering from PPD.
