Came in with very bad chest congestion and 99 temp id had for several days. I was never tested for either Covid or flu. Told I just had a cold. Went home, got worse, tested that night and I have Covid. I have MS and I’m on immunosuppressant infusions (Ocrevus). None of that was taken into consideration at the visit. The fact that I wasn’t tested for Covid & Flu is malpractice. Mariah and the x-ray technician were amazing! On the other hand, Ted the NP was dismissive and belittling when raising my concerns about my kids’ illnesses. I wish we could say we will be back because of the amazing support providers but as long as Ted is there we will be visiting another location.
My wife and two young children visited this urgent care and the rooming staff sarcastically complained about have to see them as a group of three. Did they prefer that my 5 year old and 8 year old were alone in separate rooms? What could possibly go wrong in that scenario? Just wildly inappropriate for medical professionals. The providers themselves were fine.
