We came here 2 separate times (a week apart) for excruciating abdominal pain in my girlfriend. The first time, they ran no tests and sent her home. Not even an IV or blood work. The second time, they did a CT, busted her vein with an IV, finally did blood work, and blamed it on Celiacs. We were told that they had no idea what the issue after we said that she has had celiacs her entire life and never had this response and that she has had pain spikes in the middle of the night. I was out of state on a trip to see family and this was an absolute awful experience for me and my husband who came in from uncontrollable vomiting all evening. Most of the staff were cold and showed little to any compassion or concern for us. The nurse who inserted the IV and took blood literally looked like she was having the worst day and made no eye contact with either of us and my husband said it was painful. Absolutely horrible experience. I take my mom because she was throwing up constantly and several headaches. 2 weeks ago she was diagnosed with An Active Tuberculosis in her lung and she’s been type 2 diabetes patient over 10 years. She was checked in quickly and thy moved us in separate ed room because she had an active TB ! I understand that for safety As I remember I call them 3 time for help because mom wanted to used restroom and she have all the wire on her body and IV.
