Where is Dr. Andrew Richards? No one seems to know! He certainly wasn’t available at UPMC Pinnacle Colon and Rectal Surgery today for my colonoscopy that was scheduled four months ago! The one I took off work for and had my wife take off work for to drive me - and the one I spent all day yesterday preparing for not eating a thing, and drinking all of the fun liquids & pills, etc.! Did he get fired? Retire? Why is his Front Street office in Harrisburg all of a sudden PERMANENTLY CLOSED with no explanation or notification to h... read more

Went to UPMC Pinnacle Colon and Rectal Surgery for consultation and we all agree a colonoscopy is needed. They are scheduled out 3-4 months in advanced. No problem... make an appointment for the procedure. Months pass by and five days before my procedure I get a phone call from the office telling me that they are cancelling my appointment because they don't have an anesthesiologist for that day. How can you book a procedure for someone that requires anesthesia without having an anesthesiologist or multiple anesthesiologists ... read more
Would not recommend Dr. Andrew John Richard's. He did surgery on my sister in 2010 and she died a week later. After surgery he was too busy to talk to me and my sister about aftercare. She was his last patient and apparently anxious to go home. He had the nurses give my sister 2 pain killers to swallow before she left the surgical center. He wasn't interested in my sister or concerned with her. Wish he had never done the surgery as she would be alive today. She was only 48 years old and left her son behind. I cry almost ever... read more
Dr. Jadd Koury mapped out my treatments for colorectal cancer and was spot on. First recommending chemotherapy and then radiation treatments and then surgery. I am now cancer free and I highly recommend Dr Koury as he explained every side effect that I could or could not have. Again, I highly recommend Dr Koury as he a caring doctor and answered all of my questions that I would ask at my appointments and at the hospital.
