Unprofessional is an understatement! I’m a shame to have UPMC has my health insurance. The way your staff treated that man in the video is unacceptable. And I’m sure other patients have been treated poorly. Investigations need to be done so the report can shed light on how your staff treats mental health Patients. if it wasn’t for a particular doctor who doesn't rush with patients I’d boycott upmc for their terrible approach to patient care. I bet my provider gets in trouble for wait times because UPMC expects a patient encounter to take 30 minutes. There is terribly unrealistic time restrictions placed on UPMC providers. Maybe hire more practitioners?..... Customer serice people are great but terrible customer management. Getting someone to answer the phone is hard and purposefully cumbersome by the company.

My first time experiencing a serious health concern (covid) and the physician assured me that should symptoms escalate over the weekend, of which she, Dr. Hasley stated they would do so, that I could reach someone from her on call team 24/7- her words. This hospital must be on the verge of bankruptcy! They haven't returned a credit of $363.20 on my daughter's account after promising on several occasions since mid-June that it would be returned within 7-10 days. The only reason they have that money is because they sent a fraudulent bill underestimating the amount our insurance company would pay. Broke the law every time I’ve been there. Tried to violate my constitutional rights which are yours unless you’re detained under NDAA. I Hired a lawyer. They disrespect nurses by not paying them enough.
I have asthma and was having trouble breathing. As a result I went to the East UPMC ER. Although my vital signs did not reflect how terrible I felt or how much trouble I was having breathing...I was left in the waiting room for OVER 2 HOURS. How can you allow this racist nurse or any others who express the same sentiment to be employed by your hospital. I wonder how many Black and non-Black people of color she has harmed over her years of employment. She should be fired immediately and her license should be revoked by the state.
