I'm not a bad review kind of person, but I took a family member to the ER and it was a terrible experience. We were there for 14 hours total, got triage and bloodwork done somewhat quickly but then remained in the waiting room hearing nothing at all for 7 hours straight. Once we finally got back to a bed, communication was slow and passive-aggressive, we waited an hour just for Tylenol, and testing and results took forever. There's a problem when an ER trip takes longer than a regular shift for the people working...
They hang up and don’t answer questions
Waited over three hours before I got into a treatment room that featured its very own tetanus pole. I left immediately. This isn’t a little thing that is easy to miss. It’s an IV bag pole covered in rust that flaked on touch, in an ER, objectively terrifying. If they let this be prominently displayed then what “little” stuff are they missing?
Today I went to the emergency room. They didn’t do anything I was sick and my throat was hurting a lot. The ER nurses and dr there are a joke. You go in for care and receive the bare minimum. The nurses bedside manner is horrible. They come in with an attitude and expect you to corporate with them. Nobody in their right mind is gonna let a nurse speaking to them with an attitude the minute she walks in draw their blood. Then when you request another nurse because of her behavior security thinks they need to get involved and try to escalate a situation and make it worse.
