This place is absolutely ridiculous. They pull you back and then they push you right out into the waiting room they pull you back and then they push you right back out to the waiting room. It takes them hours just to read a CT scan to you. This hospital is horrible. Go to Harrisburg. this place is absolutely horrible truly horrible making you wait hours all day. I’ve been here since 3pm something it’s going on 8:40 PM. I understand sometimes things get backed up, but this is absolutely inhumane.
If I could give zero I would. Its shame there was a nice nurse. I wouldn't have come here if it wasn't for my doctor tell me to go. This place is horrible. I rather go downtown. Upmc better do something about this
ER was fine and saw me immediately, unlike other reviews who had excessive waits; maybe since it was a non-busy Sunday morning with life threatening symptoms which turned out to be nothing major. The care team was great and the private room was fine if not a little stark. I would go there again for something major but no doubt could wait an annoyingly long time for something more minor.
Never go to this ER, you will never gets the right treatment, rude staffs poor communication
