I have lived there a year and a half.. My truck was hit and ran on by my neighbors and the one that i tracked down didnt have valid insurance.. $ out of my pocket. The management is the worst i have ever seen. There has been mold (which we have complained about) on our house for over 8 months.. NOTHING has been done for it. And now we are getting our chain yanked for no reason.. Horrible place, horrible neighbors who like to jam out and party while we have a 4 year old.. Not a good place for a family.. I lived at uv for 2 years and loved it. I got awesome random roommates through their roommate matching and I got to have my dog there too. It was furnished so I didn't have to bring anything from home, which was also nice because their bed was bigger than mine (queen). It was pretty convenient to have Walmart right next door too. Overall, I loved it!

This business employs BAIT AND SWITCH TACTICS. University Village told me that they had a one bedroom available and that I can come and check it out. I went and checked it out and everything was fine. Finally, after going to sign the lease to get the apartment they told my wife and I were told that, "Oh, sorry it looks like the 1 bedroom is not available like we thought. However, we do have a 3 bedroom that is available for 1,300.00 per month. You can get this 3 bedroom and then rent out the other two rooms". My wife and I w... read more

I love this place!! I feel more at home here, than I do at my house! The staff is very friendly, and maintanence is fast. I go to Eastern and I never drive cause I use the free shuttle. They have a lot of fun resident events where they give out a bunch of free food and prizes. They really seem to care a lot about the residents here and the quality of service proves it.

I'm a transfer student @EIU, and this is the 1st place I checked out when I got here. Needless to say I didn't even bother to go check out any more places. UV looks more like a community than an apartment complex, makes me feel right at home. They offer everything I need, don't even have drive across town. There is a fitness center here and free tanning. The office has free printing!! and they even supply the paper. The people that work here are always quick to answer your questions and overall very friendly to talk to .

I LOVE IT HERE! They are always so friendly in the office and make sure that everything is taken care of. My roommate and I have recently had problems but they helped us sort our differences out and make sure that we were both comfortable in the apartment. They also have an awesome new coffee bar. I love coffee so this is particularly AWESOME for me! They have the keurig, with the best flavors!
