Had double jaw surgery with Dr Robertson. He is a tremendous surgeon. His staff is educated, knowledgeable, and helpful. Was advanced into my healing after a few days and the healing process went as well as it could have gone. Had no issues or concerns and very little pain and discomfort.
Some things ended up working out OK in the end, but I do have some concerns regarding how people with disabilities are treated at this clinic. Specifically, from my observation, many of the staff seemed to have some preconceived notions and assumptions regarding people with disabilities that unfortunately influenced The care I received. They know their stuff!
I was in immediate need of help being urgently sent from emergency in Dartmouth and the people of this department and hospital made special arrangements whom all made a great effort to make space and schedule a late night surgery on my fractured jaw after an assault. I was treated extremely well and cannot be thankful enough for th response and care I was treated with. I thanked every person I saw through this time of need and will never forget them all being there for me through this ordeal 💕
Holy Moly! There's a reason they have 5 stars! I have had recent fear of going to the dentist, let alone dental surgery. I was very vocal about that to the staff (sorry you had to listen to me whine lol) But Nurse Hilary and Dr Armonde were phenomenal!!!! They created such a relaxing environment, gave me extra freezing, Talked to me throughout, held my hand (which really helped combat my anxiety), played some music, celebrated with me when the tooth was out, etc etc. Absolutely incredible people in the right field!
