Normally, I'm very pro-U of M on everything. I've been a patient at Kellogg Eye Center since I was a baby, and I'm an alumna of the University of Michigan. I, however, went to Kellogg Eye Center's Low Vision Clinic for an exam last Friday to see if there was a way to improve my reading speed, and I was disappointed in what I noticed during my appointment. It felt like the doctors weren't listening to what I was trying to tell them and even seemed that they didn't always know what they were doing based on their comments. Agai... read more
I have had eye surgeries in Holland, Grand Rapids and Muskegon. The staff at U of M is second to no one. Short wait times, a staff that always greets you with a smile and makes you laugh. Doctors who spoke directly to me and my wife and explained everything to me on why and what was happening. Couldn't be more pleased on the care I recieved and will continue to recieve. It is a blessing to recieve the best care in the world.
They did a great job. Every step was explained, and everyone was polite, and effeicent.
My dad underwent surgery in Traverse City for glaucoma, with the final result from them being ...oh well, your blind...now we will do the other eye...NO NO NO I immediately made an appt at Kellogg, and within a week, we had out first appointment. Not only are they able to repair the damage the clinic in TC did, the team...love it!, the drs will continue correcting his other eye, and with new prescription, my 82 year old dad will have vision restored in both eyes. Without a doubt, outstanding clinic, doctors and staff.
Nice area good ppl
I have had nothing but 5 stars. And my Dr. Dootze is always entertaining. We spend at least 3 to 6 hours together, and he makes my eye look just like the other. We laugh too.
The people were great, but I had a 3 hour wait to a doctor..... Suggestions, don't make appointments between 11&1.
My Eye Dr's are the bomb they treat me with respect they explain to me what is going on what needs to be done and what they need for me to do and for that I am grateful
I have been going to the Kellogg Eye Center for 6 months. My condition is related to anatomy of my eyes being very irregular than most. Started with cateract surgery but everything they do has unexpected results so they are truley having to figure this out as they go. Multiple complications with both eyes but i would not want to be anywhere else. I have seen three docs in one day and they convers and work out a plan. Their compasion and empathy for what i am going through is incredible. From the staff to the three surgeonsn ... read more
