Quite possibly the WORST hospital ever! Their nurses could not care less about patients! Avoid this place at all costs if you want to get better! They don't care about your pain or making you better, they will treat you like garbage because you don't matter. Stay away from here because all you'll get is worse. They left a loved one stuck in the bathroom in extreme pain even after repeatedly pulling the emergency help cord (nurse was heard on her phone chatting about nonmedical things...Verified no critical or emergent patien... read more

I went to a scheduled appt yesterday. Check in was great, nurse was great. Than it went downhill. Never saw dtr I was suppose to and the pa was very very very rude. Pretty much hated it the minute she stepped in room. Now gotta go back for testing next week. This time if I get same cranky pa I'm letting her know I don't appreciate that attitude while she is being paid by my private insurance which we pay for. If my appt is with the doctor than I want the doctor.
Surgeons obviously did a good job. The communication was terrible between staff and doctors and familiy members. I don't want some nurse that wasn't even in on the procedure to try and explain to me how well it went. The surgeon should sit down and talk with the family members.
Efficient day today! First an MRI and then a consult with Dr Henning Gerhke and out the door. Very little waiting
There was no doubt where I wished to be treated. From our experience with my dad as a patient to now me as a patient, UIHC is the best choice. I just wish I lived closer, but the drive is worth every second. The staff is amazing, helpful, talented and knowledgeable.
I have tried twice to score a 3 star based on poor parking issues for nurses and patients and both times my post was deemed "abusive"? No bad words. No threats. Just TRUTH. DENIED. 1 star now.
We have been in the cardiac intensive care for over a week. Everyone here has been wonderful...informative, kind and helpful and my sister has received around the clock care from many different teams of DRs who have consulted and agreed upon her care.
