While I cannot complain about their healthcare, Beware of University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics Billing department and their affiliated predatory lender GreenState Credit Union. Last year my wife had a heart attack and went blind within 4 months of each other. She has multi-organ SLE and a rare condition called Neuromyelitis Optica. Dealing with the billing department has been a nightmare. Dr. Bender in Women’s gynecological health was very thorough in explaining what was going to happen during surgery. He & his team have been very kind & patient in answering all my questions before surgery & after during follow ups.

RecommendedThe care I have had has been awesome The nurses in ophthalmology have been great and my Retina Dr along with the nurses I have had after both surgery's My Retina Dr is Dr.Binkley she is wonderful. Love it while waiting to see her she will say hello when walking by the waiting area

RecommendedThe IVF Clinic is amazing! The staff was so wonderful and supportive you can tell they feel the ups and downs with you every step of the way. We are so blessed to have had the opportunity to work with everyone there. We have been able to start our family thanks to them. The IVF Clinic staff truly are amazing people.
