Purchased a vehicle with them couple years ago. I decided to refinance my car and had gap insurance on my car. These people have basically a none existent HR and General manager. Every time I call regarding this subject I leave a voicemail and no call back. Its been a year since refinancing and Kia ********** is refusing to release these funds.
Tried to do bait and switch with interest rates got approved for a low rate they wanted to change it when we went to get car
Where do I start I have a 2019 Kia Sorento that was purchased new in 2019. The vehicle has 60,000 mile warranty tires on it. I spoke with the manager of University Kia of Huntsville about a used 2013 Kia Sorento. Blue with 97,802 miles on the car price $10,995.. He said come in we are slashing prices. I went in the following day. They did my credit application on me. The manager was suppose to be cutting prices. They offered me a Kia Soul. I said no. The salesman went and brought a Hyndai and said test drive while the manager is working the payments out. The payment was twice the amount I was willing to pay. There was NO Blue 2013 Kia Sorento. However, once the banks see a customers credit profile they make decisions about what vehicles, terms and rates they will offer. Regrettably, we can only offer terms based on what the banks will approve.
Just a few negatives, had to talk to so many different people, the don't return phone calls, go to get my car and the skid plate is hanging off underneath almost, the nice gentleman that was driving it out to me did take it back in and get it put back on for me, then get in the car and half of the skid plate or the other one is laying in my back seat! plus there was scuffed up scratches on the back which wasn't there when I took it. After having my mother's Sorento (bought brand new from this location) for multiple days to replace the engine -a recall that we never were informed about- we had to return and spend $1000(a discounted rate) and 7 hours while they replaced hoses and plugs they said would void the new warranty if we didn't replace with them this day. We live over an hour away and were expecting everything to be good when we left with the new engine. I will absolutely NEVER buy a kia after this.
