Don't count on them to help with lapbands. My son-in-law's lap band started slipping a few years ago, and now it's to the point that it's critical he get it removed. It's been nine months, and they just canceled his surgery AGAIN, blaming his insurance, even tho we have said, at this point in time we'll pay out of pocket for it!!! He has called his insurance and they have verified that his procedure has been cleared for nine months but after this last cancelation, they said they would help him find somewhere else that can do... read more
